Big Data and Neglected Diseases

As a Research Fellow at the Bunge and Born Foundation, I helped harness Big Data to combat Chagas, a neglected life-threatening disease that affects over a million people in Argentina.

In 2019, I received the award in the Urban Environments category for my project Urban Green Space Atlas for Argentine Cities.

Course: Data Science and Public Policy

I Designed the Data Science and Public Policy Course, an initiative aimed at training employees of the Government of the City of Buenos Aires in the use of new techniques for analysis, evaluation, visualization and communication with data.

Index of Confidence and Access to Vaccines (ICAV)

I helped develop the Index of Confidence and Access to Vaccines (ICAV). The index was designed to identify barriers that hinder access to vaccination, as well as changes in public confidence regarding the importance, safety, and efficacy of vaccines.

The GPE (Georeferenced Program Evaluation) R package

With the support of the Inter-American Development Bank, I have open-sourced the GPE tool (Georeferenced Program Evaluation), a toolkit created to facilitate the analysis of public programs where patterns of accessibility, location, and frequency of use are important.

Supporting Fair Housing with Geospatial Data

I developed a set of geospatial intelligence systems for analyzing and reporting on territorial dynamics related to the location of beneficiaries of public housing programs.
